Do you root for the conference or does Kansas need to be destroyed?

Big 12 teams winning obviously promotes the strength of the conference. I wouldn't mind seeing Oklahoma do well due to playing style, tolerance of basketball fans and watching buddy. Can't stand watching WVU or Kansas.

Absolutely nothing good comes to Iowa State if the Big 12 falters in the tournament. The better Iowa State and the conference does, more money for the athletic department.

And yes, that means cheering for Kansas.

I don't care how anyone does besides Iowa State. I do want Iowa and Kansas to lose first round though.

I love watching Kansas lose all year long, minus the tourney. I want the conference to do well, so Ill pull for all of them to make it far.

This is 2 years in row the big 12 was top conf all year...can't have 2 straight years of NCAA upsets..especially with a senior laden conference.

I will root for the conference, but if Kansas loses I will enjoy that. Teams I am cheering for in highest to lowest order:

Iowa State - duh
Oklahoma - I like Lon, I like their style, their basketball fans are good, and I want to see Buddy have a nice run.
TTU - Tubby is a good guy, hard not to root for him to do well there and I don't have any reason not to like TTU
Baylor - Meh.
Texas - Meh but don't like their fans.
WVU - Thuggins and style of play kill me.
Kansas - you know the drill.

I don't hope they all lose the first game, but if they did, I'd be ok with that.

Kansas can die a slow painful death. I'll be cheering for OU because I respect the hell out of Lon Kruger. WVU, don't care. Baylor, don't care. TTU I will probably cheer for. Texas can do the same as Kansas. Iowa State...duh.

When the B12 flops like it does every year in the tournament, it invalidates what we've done in conference play, in the eyes of most of the country. If the B12 doesn't start showing up in the tourney, they may have to rethink the importance of RPI.
