Release: ISU Signs Oregon Big Man

yeah but it also has jared sullinger as a center and hes a PF in most people's opinions (including ESPN). a lot of those 6-9 guys are PFs. the list where he was 3rd was from September so he has dropped significantly according to Scout.com. ESPN has him as a PF but if he had the same rating (92) at C he would be a top prospect on ESPN.

Can it be a single year scholarship poromise?

The kid finished high school when he was only 16 (or 17?). He is young for his class and needed a year (or 2) to get the game and muscle to take the pounding. From everything written about him he is NOT a throwaway walk-on and is expected to be a consistent game-day contributor.

But like most of you I get my news from the internet.

Granted I have not seen more then a few little videos on the kid, but I am excited but hesitant. First when KG says that Doug Mac is a tweener that needs a couple years I would agree and say so does this kid from what I see. I don't know that Doug couldn't take this guy or at least hang very close from what I have seen. I would be very excited to see this kid redshirt and develop into a good big man with work, but am not excited about the fact that he will probably have to step into the rotation already this year. Hopefully I am wrong, but the kid seems to have a lot to do to fine tune his game to be Big XII ready. Like I said that is from an outsider's perspective with nothing more then fan experience and playing pickup games.

I saw Dryburn compare Railey to a more athletic version of Ham his freshman year. Does anyone else that has seen him play want to compare his game to a former Cyclone of the past ten or fifteen years? Doesn't necessarily have to be the same talent-level...I just want to get an idea of what type of player we're talking about. Welcome Jordan!
