Ranking tomorrow?

Butler will drop below ISU after losing twice this week and Nova and Providence will jump ISU after winning both of their games, including wins over ranked teams. No one else above them will drop below. And Miami and Duke didn't really do enough to jump a team losing @#3 in the nation. So ISU to #12.
You may be right, but Xavier got beat at home. They should drop, but doubt they go below 10....

next 4 games are key and will tell a lot about this team, as we should win them all, TT and Baylor at home, Texas and KSU on road ( Texas without Ridley we need to win, KSU is not good)....these are the type of games we can't lose as we head into the home games vs OU and KU

Everything is spot on here. I say #11 now that I've slept on it with a slight possibility to jump to #10. If we take care of business before the OU game at Hilton, we should be top 6 or 7 by that time because there are always upsets. Just can't let one happen to us.

p.s. I see a lot of people talking about Iowa being ranked next week and I feel they absolutely should be. I really don't know where they land but anywhere from #20-#25 is reasonable, really.

I don't trust the voters. #17 with WVU being ranked in front of us (Which would be an absolute joke)

Seth Davis typically has us rated about 3 spots lower than what we end up. This is actually the third AP voter I've seen bump us up quite a few spots after the OU loss but I don't think it will carry across the board:

I'm starting to think my optimistic ceiling of #9 is within reach, though. Something else of note is Iowa's ranking at our current spot. We beat Seth's #11 and took his #3 to the wire on the road.

FWIW, Davis had us at #11 last week.

Also, jumped from #13 to #12 in Rick Bozich's and dropped from #15 to #16 in David Borges poll.

I expect us to probably jump a couple spots in most of the voters polls who had us ranked in the teens and drop a couple spots in the ones that had us in the top 10.

I don't understand how anyone could watch our game last night and think we are the 16th best team in the country. Turns out he didn't watch it and just responds with "Northern Iowa". Ugh.

Well as the past has shown us number 9 ranking never fares well for ISU. We always seem to lose once we get slotted in that rank spot. So I hope we don't land there just plainly for the jinxing factor. But I feel we move up for sure Butler lost so they should drop out
