It was very nice catching up! My youngest was telling my wife all about the visit and how he was playing trains with Lew. And then asking when you'll be back.

Did a quick tour at Mount Mercy for their MBA program. Walk into a room that is VERY hot and the guy says "Jesus it is hot in here". Considering it is a catholic school I giggled.

I talk to Jesus every day. Usually about things a bit more spiritual, however.

I talked to Jesus just a couple minutes ago. Left the hospital for moms appt and hit ice with my right food and skidded, put my left down to catch balance and that slid. Somehow I did a little dance and managed to keep going. Good thing was a curb was coming up, that would have been wipe out city.

Late school start today so kids had tv on. Housing flipping show. They are working up this house being way out in the desert. Problem is, they screw up twice and give quick glimpses of apartment buildings next door.

We stopped in Norman & wandered OU 's campus for a bit. I just about got knocked over by one gust. If PapaLew hadn't grabbed my arm, would've done a faceplant right in front of their stadium.

I see they moved this weekend's ISU softball games from Ames to Norman. According to the paper the temps are not forecasted to "meet the minimum temperature required by then Big 12". Was surprised to see they actually had a rule like that. I am assuming daughter's games will be cancelled as well since the forecasted high is 30 and 70% chance of accumulating snow.

I am comfortably warm inside with my feet up watching the Yankee/Rays game. Feeling like I should help neighbor mom and her little boy dig out but my torn rotator cuff is barking like a SOB from all of the shoveling lately. It's doesn't like shoveling much, at all.

Note to self, take some ibuprofen.

Can't get them into the front yard for the porch, landing, sidewalk and deck area. Did start and run Little Fran twice yesterday for the driveway in back but had to hack through the snow row the cities front end loader left. Big Chuck might have been able to get through that but I find muscling that heavy POS around is as bad as shoveling at times.
