So yesterday was finally the first day that my back pain from getting up from a seated or lying down position was minimal. Tonight we had a family gathering at my sister and BIL's house. After dinner my nieces got out their arsenal of nerf shooting weapons and my brother, nieces and I had a game of war. While my nieces and brother had ones with multiple rounds my was a single shot one. Still alot of fun and felt like I was 10 years old again. Kids today have alot more fun toys than I did that's for sure.

Hey girl, can you put down landscaping fabric for me? Kthxbai.

haha, we had to stop tonight cause we ran out. Hoping I can find some tomorrow or we can't finish the section and get the rocks put on. DH is pretty good at it though, so maybe you can bribe him.

Where in Iowa is the 712 area code?

My cell phone is a 712 number from when we lived in Carroll. We don't have a home phone, so my cell is our main number. We've lived in Ames for 10 years now, always throws people when they ask for a number and I start 712 because they always assume 515.

I"m easily as far south as carvers, but I mowed the lawn for the first time today as well. It was well past needing it, but I just didn't have the time prior to April 19th. And no one else at my house is capable of running a lawnmower it seems. (Oh and I'm too cheap to hire it done).

Husband had mowed really late in November too, but the places the dog likes to poop grow like crazy. We have a riding mower, the boys like to do it. I have done it when they are all off at Scout camp or something, but avoid it if I can due to allergies. I can smell the cut grass a mile away it seems.

Neighbors were moving landscape rock and got pickup stuck in their yard. Boys off at prom, but husband and I got them out after watching their futility for a while and sort of laughing.

Just a personal opinion after seeing another picture of that on FB. Prom season is in full swing.

Well had the same problemoney in Wichita with a twist. Wichita's area code is 316, our phones from CR are 319.

one bed done, plants/tree in, rock and fabric down. Oak tree in and water, not filled in with dirt yet. Going to see if the water settles it at all while we work on the other bed. Blah, this is too much work. Probably have to do the other big 3 trees tomorrow. Two are bigger than the oak. Now I cry. But I suppose if that's all we have, plus getting our patio table and a few other plants, but those will be easy to put in. Ok, enough procrastination. Gotta move so I can try and make lasagna.

Damn CG all that work the least DH could do is take you out for supper or at least order delivery. ;)

Welcome GTO, I assume work has been busy, I've seen a few posts from you in other threads but not too often. What's new with the family?

You're right. Work has been absolutely brutal the past couple of months. Family is doing well. Just had a birthday party for my oldest a couple of weeks ago and my own birthday a few weeks back (finally turned 40). Been trying to get a new car, fix a few things around the house, and just keep afloat with workload.

How are things going in your neck of the woods?

Pretty good just about ready to hit the spring rush when things dry out. Seen a guy planting tonight at 11pm, turn on the GPS and let it roll. Have to do a little extra work for a guy tomorrow I'll have more travel time than work time.

I'm on BB withdrawal but did get to attend Cy's house of Trivia that was a lot of fun even though our team got beat like a drumo_O. Looking forward to the tailgate tour in May nearest stop is about 45 minutes away, but it's a neat way for a fan like me to see the coaches. Hope life treats you well time to quit for the night up at 6 tomorrow.

So it seems like they may have fixed CF mobile?

There is a thread where CW talks about it yes they made some upgrades and changed the ad loading to clean it up if I remember right. Glad to see you survived tax season, how long before you shut your stores down? How is Riley doing?
