Amen. I may get hated on but I also tip very little if I am just getting beer (especially if it is bottled or can) somewhere. You had more effort in taking my money then giving me my drink/food.
That is the nice thing about the local craft beer joint. Their beers are between4-4.50 so you go in have one and leave a five the bar maid gets a nice tip but not excessive and your on your way.
Mowed the yard for the 1st time this year. Good job done.Movie night tonight whatever the last star wars was makes it to the local community theatre.

The tipping that annoys me is buffets when they never really pick up the dirty plates and you have to pile them up in a corner of the table.

one bed done, plants/tree in, rock and fabric down. Oak tree in and water, not filled in with dirt yet. Going to see if the water settles it at all while we work on the other bed. Blah, this is too much work. Probably have to do the other big 3 trees tomorrow. Two are bigger than the oak. Now I cry. But I suppose if that's all we have, plus getting our patio table and a few other plants, but those will be easy to put in. Ok, enough procrastination. Gotta move so I can try and make lasagna.

I mowed for the first time on Thursday and Friday after work. Bagged it as it was long. Between the rain, work and these shingles I just hadn't gotten around to it.
I"m easily as far south as carvers, but I mowed the lawn for the first time today as well. It was well past needing it, but I just didn't have the time prior to April 19th. And no one else at my house is capable of running a lawnmower it seems. (Oh and I'm too cheap to hire it done).

You get a bad rainy cycle, though, and it can be awhile before you can mow. Rains, wait for the lawn to dry out, rains again, repeat. Then, the lawn gets longer/thicker, which takes longer to dry.
not dead, but only did 1 of the 4 big trees. Not enough time in the day. Lasagna delish though.
Hot take-the whole dad/brother with a gun/knife thing isn't all that funny or intimidating.
