I had a dream last night that I met CG.

The believable parts
1. She was short
2. She was fun
3. She got along great with Mrs. Jcyclonee (I could totally see this)
4. We met in a bar

The not-so-believable parts
1. She was very tan
2. She was dressed in an ISU cheerleading outfit
3. She kept pulling out posters of herself in activities she was in during high school

Anybody know if IV antibiotics make you have weird dreams?

Yes, they do. Trust me.
Are you still in the hospital?

I forgot to mention I had a dream last week that wxman, his wife and baby were at my house and we had a tornado warning and had to hide in the basement. Didn't get to chat much cause you know, tornado, but his son was cute.

Yes, they do. Trust me.
Are you still in the hospital?

oh yeah, wait a sec, IV antibiotics, your thumb has apparently worsened??
I was released on Monday. I'm actually working a short day today. I was sent home with home infusion therapy so I administer an IV to myself twice a day. Currently, the IV ball is sitting on an invoice on my desk.

So - sounds like a nice morning to go for a bike ride, or a drive around a lake?

I'll probably do more ground cover cleanup then go walkabout or drivin'. Still in the 40's here (but sunny!). Planning on walking over to the new beer taphouse up the street for happy hour, it's only 1.3 miles. Tomorrow is ISU volleyball day and Sunday is biking.

They sent you home with it? I was tied to a damn IV pole for about five days. :(

When my son was on infused antibiotics for a leg infection in 5th grade it hurt him like a sumbeach during the infusion. 4x daily, about a half hour each, for 6 days. They put a hep-lock in the back of his hand, so he wasn't tied to an IV pole, but he was in the hospital for about a week. Probably thought we wouldn't do the infusions if they let him go because they hurt him so bad. That is one of the most helpless feelings on the planet...when your kid is hurting, and you have to watch them make it hurt worse.

So are you sporting a hep-lock?

PS: I'm glad you're out and apparently getting better!

Dang, that is a lot for a mystery infection to the thumb. Woof. Good thing you have a wife to make you go to the doctor. Pants and I would have been goners.

So, no hitchhiking this weekend? I can also give you an official ISUAA excuse for the volleyball outing.

Speaking of the last week of July. MrsWx wants to go to Oshkosh with me and thinks she will be able to camp. She will be 7months prego. I just keep telling her that we will figure it out as we get closer.
