So sorry. My sister actually is pretty tough but she suffered greatly with those. Hope the doctor gave you some antivirals that help.
Poster who posts nearly exclusively in basketball threads and usually useful information.
He posted stuff on recruiting in a format that I personally found much more helpful than what Jared posted, but since a mod and Nallen seem to have history, we got a consolidated thread that was a pissing match with much heavy handedness and little recruiting. Jared was not a problem with it, of course.
From my observations, he puts a lot of work into the threads he posts and goes back and updates things as they change. He has apparently rubbed some people wrong, but I've never had any issues with him. Regardless, things got out of hand:

A shot of cortizone. 6 days of prednisone and 10 days of acyclovir which is the antiviral. Also some sort of steriod cream (triamcinolone)
Threads were merged immediately yesterday. After bickering with the mod, came the childish thread title to show him who's boss. Not sure if he was banned, apparently that mod has banned him before. Jared cleaned up the thread title since it was dumped in his thread.
Really hope they help and you can get some good rest.
Well, a lot of these guys do carry a "worship me, I bring INFORMATION!" approach. I pretty much cannot stand some of the attitudes. They are more interested in showing off and being the center of attention then in getting any selfless joy in the actual sharing or contributing.
What I want to know is where do these people find time to follow recruiting as closely as they do? I remember last year during one players recruitment one poster mentioned keeping folders on all potential recruits.
I like following recruiting a little to fill in the sports void after March Madness ends. But the extent of my "research" is confined to CF. I don't have a Twitter account or use any pay sites. I'm not THAT curious. I appreciate the guys on here that follow it closely and post links, tweets, etc. Those threads usually have less trolling as well.

Agree with you. Unfortunately there seems to be a **** measuring contest going on and a history of bad blood.
I enjoy reading through the recruiting threads from time to time but not to the extent of doing research. I spend enough time on the PC at work. I don't need to spend another 3-4 hours each night as well.
Best thing about Wednesday -- no spring sporting events. Maybe homework will be done before midnight.
