Lawn care dudes that do like three of my neighbors yards had their lunch in my front yard. Did not go cranky old man "off my yard you guys. " Cause I am not actually a cranky old man even though summer 2017 is my personal Summer of Discontent.

Life in a Northern Town, totally stuck in my head.

Thanks to @Angie and that video music thread!

Sorry, man! :p If it makes you feel better, I had a song that came into my mind that was perfect for it at, like, 3 am on Friday night/Saturday morning, then forgot it by the time I woke up in the morning. So it also infected me!

I've listened to that one, but I like the one with Sugarland, Jake Owen & Little Big Town better. But it's a country version (shhhhhh) so a lot of people haven't heard it.

I'm absolutely intrigued by this idea. We've worked with "Bike Builders" through our church in the past, feeding them on this leg of their ride. I've never done road crew for a Ragbrai rider (or group of riders), but that is on such a huge scale it seems like it would be less enjoyable.

No doubt. My Army buddy does RABGRAI, and they have an RV w/a support person who handles all of that.

Since this is such a quick turnaround, I'd bet it's quite an undertaking for a support person to tackle. Essentially, the idea would probably (my first bet) be either to be there for a team to shower, eat, and sleep, then to take off when that group heads to their next start point, and meet the other part of the team to do the same.

It's an interesting idea that could really add something spectacular, and especially avoids the knowledge issues that we encountered this time around, and clears some logistical hurdles.

Should probably do my ride now rather than later since Round #2 is tracking NE right at the Twin Cities. Might have to make it a short ride.

Edit: Channeled my @wxman1 and looked more. Supposed to stay south although I am skeptical.

This would totally work as a support bus.

Do you run overnight?

I swear people that make decisions about technical stuff don't actually do technical stuff. They want us to use this thing called KeePass to store our passwords. So now I am going to have to type my password twice to get it changed on each system and then type it in twice more to store it in this piece of crappy software that also happens to be freeware. I just don't see using freeware for security purposes.
They also think we should have a separate password for each logon. That's fine if you need maintain 2 passwords. Not like the 70-80 that I have to maintain.

You needed to go the other route and be the ultimate nice guy, greeting them and thanking them for bringing lunch as you sit down and help yourself to their food.

Work in a kitchen and heat was bad today. Hour in and my shirt felt liked I been in a swimming pool. Had to several breaks as heat was kicking my ***.
