hmm, so that has no impact. I think you can say your situation has changed from when you first interviewed and you appreciate their time and offer but you have an opportunity in your hometown/closer to family that you wish to pursue. Something like that. It's understandable and is nice to them.
I don't think you can turn down the first job. Although it sounds inviting, there is no absolute guarantee that it will be there in the Spring. The company's situation could change or the renovations could cause further delays.

You're actually very lucky. You are being granted a several months long trial at the first job. You may end up liking that one a lot and decide not to leave when the second job comes up.

Plus with the first job you can be close to Rab, 00 and myself.

Fun tidbit.

Excel files formatted in Israel have the page tabs at the bottom right corner. Also, the column headings on the pages start with A on the right and increase (B, C, D...) to the left, and the row numbers go down the right side of the page.

I wanted to print out a small portion of their data (they provide me with waaaaaaay too much information) and for me, the quickest way is to copy it & paste it to the next page. They only put the first page in Western formatting; when I clicked on the second tab to paste the info for a quick print, everything jumped around on the page.

It's VERY disorienting! :)

Pretty sure. I write in journalistic style, so there are differences from proper English, but typically journalism will shorten it down, not make it longer.
I don't doubt that. I'm just saying I don't think it's wrong if someone would add another s after the apostrophe. However, I never do for proper nouns.
