Allowed the rhabdo issue go unpunished in any meaningful way. Has a racial profiling scandal that ousts Doyle from his job and ruins hisreputation, and accusations still in court for both Ferentzs of being racist.

Since then Petras has thrown 2 TDs, they are 5-8 with the only power 5 wins being Rutgers, Nebraska and Northwestern who are a combined 10-28 in the same timeframe

Petras isn't good but he's far from their only problem. He's won games as a game manager in the past, they simply don't have their typical type of team around him. I get why the qb gets the focus but that program has major issues. It's almost like they had a major issue festering for years that they only half assed addressed.

They are going to have major problems recruiting skill position players from here on out.

As bad as their offense is they could still win 3 or 4 of those games scoring in single digits, and make a bowl game. That is the essence of Kirk’s career. A lot of warts covered by a sorry schedule.

Hear me out...what if, any time Iowa crosses the 50 into the opponent's territory, he pooch punts and pins them deep. That sets up multiple safety opportunities and/or pick six scenarios for the defense.

Don't tell Brian Ferentz this, but I think it could work.

That has been Iowa’s strategy most of this season. And it worked 3 times and almost 2 other times.

We're last and it absolutely sucks to say that, but us WVU, TTU and KU would absolutely throttle the bottom of the Big 10. Rutgers, Indiana, Northwestern and Nebraska absolutely stink. And we, nor any other in our conference get the benefit of playing teams like that.
