If we play like we did against the West Virginia Whiners I think we win big. Crap shoot in college, especially with a true freshman QB. If our dline gets the same pressure be another fun game for the cardinal and gold.

I'd like to see the run game continue to grow.

In the option game it looked like vs. WV a couple of times Purdy could have pitched it for a better result, and vice versa for keeping it. Just something that takes time to get reads and timing down.

I'm glad this is an 11 AM game after a bye week and happy to be excited for ISU football in late October.

The biggest thing that concerns me is Texas Tech's two big wide receivers. They stand at 6'6" & 6' 5". For comparison Brian Peavy is 5'9".

Do they use actual FB players in the videos? That didn't look like Butler to me (or Bailey). . .

Pressure on the QB will be crucial. Don't have to get a ton of sacks (although helpful obviously). Just need to keep him uncomfortable.

Is TT still based on the wide splits and quick throws that’s designed to negate pressure? If so, tackling and getting in the right spots will be huge. WVU played into our hands looking for big plays.

I always worry about tackling after a bye week, seems to take a quarter or 2 to get the pads set.
