High completion %s are common in the Big 12 this year. I'm not so worried about that as letting the worst Big 12 team(not named ISU) come into our house and score more on us that anybody else this year. Its too bad that the week the offense shows some punch that the D doesn't show up at all...
Offense was ok. Offensive line is pretty brutal when it comes to protection however.
Defense is atrocious...and that's saying it very, very nicely.

well said...my sentiments exactly. I can still remember when we gave Colorado their only win of their season and yet I'm still a Clone fan each and every year. I'll continue to wear the cardinal and gold every year despite whatever happens.
OK, I'm over this game. The problem is. I'm scared to death of what's going to happen to us in Stillwater. Seriously, OSU is as good as we are bad. This could get really ugly next Saturday.
The defense has been horrid for years. Mac's last few teams couldnt stop anybody and the trend hasnt changed. And we have hired to defensive "geniuses" that have taken us no where. I dream of the day we get someone with a defensive scheme we can be proud of. I like GC and will give him a lot of rope before I go off the deep end, but, I think he needs to take a hard look at Bolt's schemes and offer some advice.
As we probably all are. But win or lose, will you be a Clone fan on Sunday morning? You bet your arse.

You don't think Chizik has input in the schemes? I doubt Bolt does a lot without Gene's input.

The problem always seems to come down to 3rd down conversions... on both sides of the ball. It's the same problem that's been haunting us for 25 years. If I were Chizik, I would pass up the FG and start going for it on every 4th down that's on the right side of the 50 yard line. That's the only way ISU has a chance to keep up against these Big 12 offenses. Converting on half of our 3-pointers isn't going to cut it. Heck, ISU didn't even PUNT tonight and still lost by 14 points! Mike Leach gambled often during his first few years and now Tech is a powerhouse. ISU might as well roll the dice too... we really have nothing to lose.

Going for 4 fieldgoals instead of touchdowns lost the game Anticipate we need to score more.
Maybe we can beat KSU and Colorado. Right now KSU looked good.
Embarasssing to say the least, Ill be cheering next saturday, but itll be quietly. Its hard to admit to being a Cyclone fan when this is the kind of play we get week in and out.
Season is over for the team. Shoot they cant even put on a little show for the recruits to try and help them next year.
Sounds like you are surrounded by a case of empty beer cans. We did score 35 points on offense and made tons of mistakes that prevented us from scoring more.
