On the plus side, ISU's ARob looks good, and I think Iowa has found their starting runningback in Wegher. Looks like it all wasn't hype with him.

He has been pretty impressive. I agree that he's your starter next week.
 
I've taken a deep breath and am now going to look at some positives I saw with this team.
1. Our offensive line looks good. I wish we'd have used there size to ram the ball down Iowas throat a little more.
2. I like our LBs.
3. Sims is a great improvement in the backfield. Great game!

PR needs to recruit a juco qb for next year or its gonna be more of the same!!!!!
 
I think that college athletes shouldn't really need to get all their motivation or mental preparation from coaches to get up for big games, especially against your in-state rival. If you can't get motivated for a big game like this on your own, then you shouldn't put on the helmet.

Nobody should be saying anything about the Defense. They were put in really, really bad positions ALL FRICKIN DAY. The offense needs to go to the corner have have a time out. Horrible job today out of the passing game. Better get that fixed or we are looking at 6 wins in the next 3 years.

ISU made freaking Greenwood and Sash look like all americans today. And that is hard to do.

Defensively, ISU played well enough to win. They did what they had to do (stack the box, blitz like crazy, and make Stanzi beat you) and it was working pretty well.

It's not usual that both teams fans wanted their starting QB benched at some point in the game (HN posters were having a meltdown in the first half)
