I'm not knocking anyone on the D. They were on the field way too much and had their backs put to the wall way too many times. I hope Wally kicks Tom in the ***** after the game.

I know it's going to read as sour grapes, but I don't think that Iowa is that good. They are going to get rolled when they go up to Happy Valley.

Who really cares...plus, if you think Penn St. is really that good you're smoking crack. They can't be more overrated than they were last year but they're still up there too far.

They will if Stanzi is as inaccurate as he was in the first half today. However, the defense played pretty well today and I think the Iowa runninggame will be much better once we get everyone back and Wegher gets some more experience.

Still, it's obviously going to be a tough game.

Agreed, we made them look much better than they are.

But I think they'll still win 8 or 9

Basketball anyone? maybe we can have a 25 win season and Iowa season will be canceled due to no players and lack of interest.

ps.
I get burned twice on this because I have 3 UNI fans calling for us also.
All I can tell them is Nobody gives a crap about UNI.

I keep thinking of that option play in Arnauds last series...that running back didn't even try to lower his shoulder....pushed out of bounds like a girl by Sash of all people. Where is the attitude?

Um, thanks? I don't know if you forgot the pirate or not, but if you didn't mean for there for a pirate, thanks, I guess.

Congrats to Iowa... They frankly out executed us and were by far the better team today.

I'm disappointed in our offense today. The defense actually played pretty well, but they were put into too many crappy situations by the turnovers. (As I'm typing this the two Iowa dbacks just prevented themselves from another interception). Frankly, I expected better decisions by Arnaud, but there were a few key drops and penalties that put us into bad situations. I'm looking forward to the next game. I hope to see a better executed offense. The throws have to be better.

Go State!

your comment about mccarney shows how little you know

As I remember mccarney won 5 games in a row against Iowa and thats better than anyone before or since jamie has arrived!!!!

Get ready for a long season if Arnaud keeps running this so called spread offense!!!!
