Omaha’s camp is not planning on him spending multiple years in college.
It’s pretty shocking how unfit he looks for the speed of the game but I’m not sure that’s enough to change things. He could still choose the UDFA route and work on his development at the professional level.

He's not NBA ready today but he's a 6'8" sniper with a high release on a meaningful shot volume on a decent college team. He's absolutely draftable in today's NBA. I personally think he'll be here for a 2nd year to be option 1.b behind Lipsey, but wouldn't be shocked if he declared if he has NBA aspirations.
Found this on Dwayne Pierce from two weeks ago. Love his aggressive play and bounce.
Three things jump out at me from that video:
1) He has a Big 12-type body already at this age
2) He has better hops/spring than I expected
3) As you mentioned, his aggression, both in going to the bucket as well as taking the tough jumper
Looks strong when he goes up, too. I'll take a guy that can finish through contact.
For Brewster, Iowa State bound four-star guard Nojus Indrusaitis had some nice moments in 18-point, five rebound and three assist effort. HE looks like he’s put on some needed bulk, gotten a little more effective off the dribble and he is a very competent shot maker from deep who connected on two of five from beyond the three-point line. IIRC, TJ & Co. were recruiting Pierce as a PG? I think he said it in his interview after he committed during his game.
I will be shocked if he isn't here next season.
Totally agree. Much safer for him to develop in the environment at ISU, obviously still results driven but I would expect ISU coaches would have much more patience with him than GLeague coaches. Could be wrong. Obviously as a professional he would have much more time to work on his game.
It's funny how that article just ignores the prior two seasons and skips right to 20/21 so that the writer can say "help is on it's way" in reference to Nojus and Pierce. Otherwise a nice article though.
Yeah, it's been repeated a few times by Pierce, CW, and others that staff see him as a PG. Here's what Otz said about Pierce on signing day:
"He is a dynamic play-making guard that gets downhill to the basket. Dwayne lives in the paint and is a physical player, making plays for himself and his teammates. He can defend multiple positions, while his size and strength will have an impact getting rebounds."
I think we've seen with this transfer class and the 2024 recruiting class that Otz is pursuing more guys with PG skills. Obviously, when you have a guy like Lipsey, he's going to handle the ball the most. Even now, though, they're comfortable with the three transfer guards bringing it up, and we might continue to get more sharing of PG duties in the next couple of seasons. I think it's great, with how multiple playmakers are able to make an offense that much more dynamic and versatile.
