Was hoping Boxberger had another in him. Feel good about Merryweather getting one the other two are coin flips right now.

That just got him a start tomorrow. Even if he doesn't hit he's saved 4 or 5 total bases that Tauch or Belli wouldn't of got to.

Belli is a legitimate gold glove center fielder and PCA is magnitudes better already. Just silly.

I wouldn't be shocked if Wisdom starts at third tomorrow. Madrigal getting throw out at 3rd to leadoff an inning is the type of move you send the team a message on. Especially when it was threw a stop sign.
It applies to all players, but you're correct, with Candy going on the IL he can come back quicker.
So my evaluation of the bullpen
- Cuas and Pelencia should only pitch in low leverage situations.
- Wesneski should be pitching in tie games where he can eat innings
- Leiter, Merryweather, Fulmer, and Boxberger should be your only tie game or up by 1-2 guys
I’m a little over putting faith in Palencia and Cuas to get it done

Doesn’t really matter if guys get thrown out on the bases three times in a game and no one can throw strikes
Loved seeing both pitchers tip their hat to PCA after those great catches. Ross should get questioned if he's not in the lineup regularly to finish out the season. Improves our defense with him in CF and Belli at 1B and it's no knock on Belli's defense in CF that is great too but PCA has got some great range out there. I'm willing to take any lumps he might have at the plate as it can't be any worse than Wisdom, Morel, or Tauchman and he's also a base stealing threat if he gets on base. He could be that spark needed to get through this last stretch, energy like that can be contagious in a team sport.
PCA gets another start. Madrigal' baserunning put him on the bench.

Taillon getting shelled by one of the worst teams in baseball. Of course it doesn't help when your left fielder drops routine plays because he doesn't know basic baseball fundamentals.
