***Official 2021 Vikings***

Very little movement on the oline and the majority of prospective FAs are gone. I'm curious what they are thinking here.

Sounds like they restructured Harrison Smith's contract to clear some cap room. They still don't have a ton. Something like 6 million dollars free

Maybe they are attempting to get an oline by trading Hunter? Then replace him via the draft?

Vikings have big holes at CB, DE, and OL and three picks in the first 150 selections (but they are all within the first 77 picks). If they want to compete this year they are going to need to go 3 for 3 on guys who can walk in and contribute with those first 3 picks.

Sauce Gardner (CB) in the first, Arnold Ebiketie (DE) in the second, Zach Tom (IOL) in the third.

I’ll be pleasantly surprised if Gardner is still on the board when we pick.

Sounds like they have Bills G Ryan Bates in for a visit. Problem is he's a restricted free agent so the Bills can match any offer.

Chandler Jones is supposed to be interested as well

Didn't he go to the Raiders?

They need more pass rushers though and they have to do something with Hunter by Sunday so hoping they can get something for him. Sounds like he's not willing to budge from what he's asking for and I don't think the Vikes want to shell out much for a guy that's been hurt a lot the last few years. Would suck if they just release him.

You're right. My mistake. I hadn't seen that he signed.

Man that's a lot of cash for a guy who's been injured most of the last couple years. Hunter is a stud when healthy but the Vikings need so much OL and CB help and that $25M could go a long way to remedy those positions.

Disappointed to see the Vikings basically attempt to rerun the same roster. We've seen other teams recognize they need to remake their teams successfully the past few seasons. I like Hunter but drafts picks are worth more for a team up against the cap.

Kiper and McShay are saying the Steelers love Wilis and will have to trade up to get him.

If Sauce and Stingley are gone, do you trade down with the Steelers and still get the Washington kid at #20?

How many "draft experts" can ESPN have?
