***Official 2018 Stanley Cup Finals Thread***

The western conference winners Golden Knights from Vegas are in the Stanley cup finals in their inaugural season.

The Eastern Conference champions Capitals from DC will face them.

Who do you think will win? Personally I will be pulling for the capitals, because I think Ovechkin deserves a cup. I without a doubt think it would be a cool piece of history though if Vegas pulled off the win in their first season.

It'll be a fun series. Really outside of tonight's game 7, the hockey playoffs have been really exciting so far. Can't say the same about most of the NBA playoffs.

Go Caps! I got my introduction to NHL hockey while I lived in DC. Went to several Caps games during my time there and they were a blast. Ovi deserves the Cup.

Good ole silver anniversary. I thought the Jets were going to stop Vegas this year. I’m glad the jets lost though. Their fans in person are extremely nice, but their internet fans are Dbags.

The semifinals didn't have many tight games throughout, but yeah the rest of playoffs have been awesome. I'm rooting for the Washington just because I've always liked Ovechkin.

Agreed, I heard Las Vegas turned down celebrity singers to keep the regular guy that sings it. Much respect and I like that idea.

Intro was cool but it started to really drag on towards the end.
