***Official 2016 Transfer Thread***

Has ISU offended tall people? why can we not find a center/post?

Cause there aren't many of them, and we don't have the recruiting budget to troll the world for 6'9" guys that can dribble a basketball without falling over.

Would take Marvin Clark for sure.

Almost exactly the same stat line as 2014 Ejim on Kenpom. Now, it's a small sample size, but the point is he was pretty effective. I would consider him a pretty similar player. Good enough shooter to stretch at the four but he probably can't guard the 3. Probably not as athletic but pretty production.

I'm stealing this but the staff may think they already have him in Solomon Young. I didn't even think of that comparison. Nonetheless, I would take another Hogue/Ejim combo.

I think we have to find a post that is immediately eligible. Unlike past years, I don't think we will have a scholarship that can be tied up on a transfer that has to sit a year.

I agree with you but I'd rather take him than another Edozie who spends two years riding pine. Of course, I also think Edozie would have played a ton under Prohm.

It wasn't cheap to let Matt A live part time in Vegas and NYC for the last two years.

Too bad he threw up a goose egg.

Can't remember who was available last year, but with everyone announcing now, it shows why we didn't get one last year with our coaching position unsettled until June.

At least double, it's working.

Also, we have to spend more on recruiting when we are taking one year players. That's a scholly to fill every single year.

One year player recruitments last 2-3 weeks. They are cheap. On trip to see them, and one trip for them to visit Ames. I think a lot of our dollars were spent on whale hunting.

USC’s Katin Reinhardt, who averaged 11.4 points this past season, told ESPN he'll transfer. Will be able to play his final season this year.

6-6 205
11 pts this season, 12.5 last season, and 10 as a freshmen at UNLV.
He should be one of the top transfers this off-season. Reminds me alot of BDJ, production and style wise, no idea on attitude.

The same exact schools as bDJ? I'm willing to pass. I understand leaving one, but going on three? Somebody probably needs to look in the mirror.
