***Official 2016 Transfer Thread***

The same exact schools as bDJ? I'm willing to pass. I understand leaving one, but going on three? Somebody probably needs to look in the mirror.
I'm not interested either, because of his position, but it's hard to discredit just because of his transfers. We never know the whole situation.
That Jankovic kid everyone wants will be going on his third school, if he decides to transfer.

I know every situation is different. Everyone can make a mistake or go into the wrong spot, especially 18-21 year olds. It just seems that those leaving a second school, are a lot higher issue players than the first transfers.

RT @GoodmanESPN: Michigan’s Spike Albrecht was granted his release today and plans to play next season elsewhere as a grad transfer.

USC’s Katin Reinhardt, who averaged 11.4 points this past season, told ESPN he'll transfer. Will be able to play his final season this year.

Albright coming off retirement rumors due to hip surgery is basically a poor man's Naz. Assuming Naz get's his medical redshirt Prohm already have that post guard role filled. Reinhardt would make an impact at most programs but the ISU back court is currently set and not going to be attractive for a one year post grad guard.

Notable transfer names and should be mentioned in this thread and both will get some attention on the market especially Reinhardt but I doubt from ISU. If Prohm was found to be looking at either guy it could say more to me about either Naz or Monte future plans.

Does anyone have a list that includes players we're interested in or have shown interest in us? (I.e. Scheduled visits)

I can't see any similarities between Albrecht and Naz except they can both shoot it. If Monte leaves, Albrecht would be okay because he's a true point that can shoot and create a little bit. He's also a great leader and locker room guy. I don't see Monte leaving but if he did you're down to one real ball handler and a few okay ball handlers and facilitators. Having a guy in that mold wouldn't be so bad. If Monte stays, you don't even talk to him.

Ricky Doyle transferring from Michigan. True big guy who was promising as a freshman. Relatively skilled inside, but struggles to catch and seemed to take a step back this year. Absolutely no stretch ability. I'd compare him to a more skilled inside scoring version of Edozie. Wouldn't be awful but I would hope for more.

Seems like a lunchtime. 6-9. I think 62 pct from field. I wonder if he will take the 'mid major impact player' route.

I think if Monte goes to the NBA we get a HS point guard rather than a grad transfer guy. I would guess they're comfortable with Donovan Jackson running the show with Naz as needed and that's why went after him. That'd be the silver lining of MM leaving is that we would have the opportunity to land a stud PG.

If we have a scholarship open up, it's going to a transfer post.

We aren't getting one for 16 and Monte has no effect on 2017 recruiting anyway. I don't like the idea of one PG and that guy being a combo guard.
