My first guess would be... a lot. Not just their inabilities to play the position at a level we need them to, but also horrific offensive line play and receivers inability to break coverage and catch passes.

In other words, the question isn't "What's wrong with our quarterbacks," the question is "Why is our entire offense such a trainwreck?"

Grant is redshirting so hes not in the equation unless we have a few serious injurys and pull the shirt. He has a good chance of being the starter next year though, unless he doesn't know the offense yet or Sam Richardson blows up to end this year.

I heard a rumor...Lenz will be the red zone quarterback. Now someone else has to get them there, but the offense will be a TD machine when it gets to the red zone.

Whoever leads Iowa State to a good lead offensively will get a HUGE backing from the stands. I'm probably gonna cheer the loudest I have all season the moment an Iowa State QB hits a WR on the money in stride for a TD.

This actually wouldn't surprise me. So this is probably not too far off from the truth.
