Kempt is steady, I'm excited about Zeb but it'd be great to have another QB with game experience. I wouldn't be shocked if Zeb won the job, my only knock on Kempt is doesn't throw a great deep ball. You can argue that killed us on specific plays in two of our losses, if he improved that though, he'd be as good as any QB in our league next year.

Not surprised about Kempt possibly pursuing another year since its no secret that he has a special relationship with CMC and I think it's mutual with CMC with him. And no, I do not believe Park will be back

Watched the Cyclones.tv replay last night. One of the announcers made a few comments about Kempt having potential to be an NFL backup QB. Glad he is willing to put that on hold to help us.

Kempt might not be "the answer" for next year, but it would be a 100% positive development to have him in the mix.

The answer for next year...and a realistic shot at 9+ wins IMO is making sure we don’t go into the season with Zeb and then behind him D Moore who has even practiced and a true freshman who may or may not even play QB.

Next year team is going to be loaded with real depth on both lines..But the most important postion in football is QB.

I wouldn't put my hopes on it, but the fact that he's still in good standing with the team, and as far as we know, still in school, all that helps his future with ISU. He may come into next spring and be ready to return. If that's the case, I'm sure the staff would do what they need to do to have him ready.

Bruns said on Twitter a few weeks ago it was very unlikely Campos would have an extra year, either due to the NCAA not approving, but also Campos mobility and health may not be up to par.

I’m guessing that it boils down to his health/desire to play another year. He didn’t play a single snap last year so not sure how the NCAA could decline the waiver. Then again, let’s not pretend the NCAA is consistent with these either...

I think he earned it.

I think he's real cerebral and a good teammate so if he's around in any capacity, it can't be a bad thing.
