Yeah, except for the helmet, numbers, stripes on the jersey, and the shade of red, those are identical.

USC doesn't own the colors. Many teams share color schemes. The biggest mistake we made was not differentiating enough during the Rhoads era unis. They became cheap knockoffs, especially with the gray facemask.

Those Cyclones unis up top are pretty unique. Some 49ers influence, perhaps, but the gold is different.

And black is used by the ISU AD. I don't see how the ducks using orange is an argument against ISU wearing black. Cy's face is black just like the duck's legs are orange.

And just for ***** and giggles, the green in the jersey is different than the green on the mascot. Drastically different. If Nike U can't always match colors, maybe its because it's not possible to always match colors across different materials. I'm sure it's not because they haven't tried.
 
Speaking of uniforms..... anyone seen these concept uniforms? On this first one, I actually like it if you take off the logos on the shoulder pads and put the I-State logo on the helmet.....

And this one isn't too much different than what we already have, but the stripe down the middle of the helmet adds so much to the look IMO.....

And I'd still like to see this uniform below, but just put the gold and cardinal I-State logo sticker on the helmet instead of the all black logo..... and maybe a cardinal facemask.....

Man that bottom one is bad ass. Can you turn that helmet sideways for a better look?

I do like that combo, it pops. If I did anything, it'd be a gold striping on pants or white numeral with gold outline on jersey.
