New Uniforms Revealed

It was a long time ago, but I remember the Packers asking to wear white uniforms at home because it was "hot out." I'm sure it wasn't because they were playing Vinnie Testaverde who was color blind (when he was on the Bucs). Yes, I realize this makes me sound very old.
The helmets really work best when combo'd with the uniforms, but on it's own I really dig the Chrome Cardinal.
That being said about combos, I want to see a C/W/C look. Chrome helmet / White jersey / Chrome pants.

Agree. All-white wouldn't shock me, but w/ UT's W-O-W, that's a LOT of white.
USC-UCLA with red vs. blue is the best-looking rivalry game, uniform-wise. I think they've strayed from that on occasion in recent years, going traditional home vs. away uniforms, I can't specify what years it has happened or how often --- I don't like that as much.
Even tho I liked the uni's vs. Baylor, and I dig the all black for a 'once-and-awhile' change, my favorite uniform combination of the present is white helmet, white shirts, and cardinal pants. Can't remember which game we wore them (only once so far I'm pretty sure) but they looked sharp! Anyone else agree?
You are definitely correct here. Campbell has done very little wrong so far and so much to applaud him for. We are lucky to have him. Even the uniforms overall, and the addition of black (and white) have been dynamic.
Only one bad uniform combination so far, IMO, and that was the c/c/w. I think he is even learning from his uniform mistakes, and if he were to do that (c/c/w) combination again, it would be later in the season when cooler (next year), and I'd bet he would have the players in longer red socks/legging (as in the w/c/c and b/c/c this year, only w/ the socks being red).
Loved the b/c/c Saturday! It looked much better that I thought with the c/g I-St logo; and the black leggings were a great match.
Also Campbell does not get enough credit for those little c/g stickers (CYCLONES and IOWA STATE) on the front and back of helmets. While not a new concept, all teams don't do that, and for some reason it just looks great on cardinal helmet!
Yes, agree c/w/c. It's our best away look and will match best w/ Texas.
And I looked back on my pre-season picks; I've only had 2 or so right so far (game one, which wasn't; and the w/c/w against Tech). My last two (pre-season) picks of the season, I've got c/w/c against Texas; and b/c/b against K-State.
That's my story and I'm stickin' with it!
I don't think he gives two ***** about the color combos. I love talking about the unis, but some of you guys are nuts.
We can't question the uniforms because Campbell doesn't make mistakes? Weirdos.
Chrome pants, eh? And I thought the chrome helmets were kinda lame...

The chrome doesn't match the rest of the cardinal in the jersey. That's why the only time it looks decent is with all whites. It looks pink. Leave the chrome to Goodguys.

I love everything about this picture. The Texas defender in full surrender pose is the best.
