New Uniforms Revealed

Adding a gold option of any kind would be awesome!! Even if Coach didn't want to add a gold helmet soon or at this time, having a gold jersey and pant option would go a long way.
OK so maybe we can't do anything about it, but it doesn't hurt to talk about it and hope. You have to admit the current uniform set is pretty devoid of gold. I mean look at the basketball uniforms and warm-ups, much better gold balance.
I do agree that this B/C/C looks really cool, no doubt.
However, I just still can't quite get over the fact we've added black to our uniform combos. I guess I'm old. But if even 5 years ago you had brought up on this site that we'd have black in our uniform combos 5 years from now, everyone on here would have lost their minds.
But because CMC likes it, nearly everyone jumps on board. I still haven't quite jumped on board yet.... fully.

This is the third year where gold hasn't really been part of the uniform. I don't really remember people pining for gold pants last year.

Let Campbell do Campbell. FYI, it is working. Get on board because it is fun.
I think most were gunshy from the Ronald McDonald all gold sets. Once we got white helmets, there was a minority who wanted to see White/Gold/White (me included!!), since the Gold jerseys looked better isolated, as in many of the "recruit photos", etc.

Agree! I don't like the black at all. But...I get it that it isn't about me. It is about the players in the program. If they think it is cool...then go for it!
In addition to combos that are among my favorites (such as C-W-C and G-C-G), this one would rock. (It wouldn't have to be gold socks, could be black -- but it's a good top/bottom gold balance)
Well 1st year he did gold (pants); 2nd year no, but kind of a transition into 'his' uniforms of year 3; 3rd year we now see his uniforms. I think we can start commenting on them, where we are going w/ uniforms in future, etc., doesn't hurt anybody either.
I also think we as fans will begin to tire of the predominant red/white look of the uniform set fairly soon. Don't get me wrong, I like it (the cardinal/white), but why can't we have some gold back also? At this time or soon, adding a bit more gold will only make the uniform set better, IMO. I do not mind the black at all, and don't think it has been overdone so far, that was my worry. I think the black addition is largely good, but it also reminds me again of " where did the gold go?" Why can't we have both? If Coach and players like black, I am also for it.
No argument here. Glad coach is here and it is great to see his results so far! Really sometimes I think why not just stay quiet and let him do his thing w/ uniforms too. I guess it's just not in me to stay quiet.
You can probably count the number of things Campbell has done wrong here on one hand. If you disagree with his choices, odds are you are wrong, not him.
We had to pry our uniform set away from including Nike’s USC gold hand-me-downs. And you know what...it worked. No more USC comparisons.
