Nebraska vs. ISU

You do realize you're arguing with God right? UNIGuy4Cy is all knowledgeable no matter the subject, and only he is right. Don't try to use sense when arguing, or ask for any supporting evidence, as his opinion is the only thing that matters. Thank you.
I just think there is better way to go about your point.

So are turnovers...
So, if you take away our injuries and your turnovers, we still won... On your field.

Not sure how that logic works. Take away all 8 of those turnover and we have atleast 5 more scores, and even assuming we just kick a field goal 4 times and only score a TD 1 time (which is unlikely) we score 26 points. Seeing as we held Texas, OU, Mizzou, and VT to less than 15 points, and all three of those teams have a much better O than ISU even with their starters, your completely wrong. Good try though.

The post I was replying to was a post you made saying injuries are a part of the game. And then go on about making a big deal about turnovers, etc. Well, I replied with turnovers are also a part of the game.
Take away all 8 of those turnovers and you have at least 5 more scores??? Wow, how do you come up with that? If you're using some insane logic like that, then if ISU has their starting QB and RB, then we score at least 6 more scores... Who cares about who you played and how much they scored, those are different games on different days. Good try though.

you have become the in house TarHeelHawk with less social skills. how you've managed this is beyond me... for this, you have earned 5 slow claps followed by a welcoming "you suck"

LOL, internet bashing, love it.

Does anyone else agree with my previous response to cyclonedaves post?
Ok, so you said you held some good teams to 15 points or less, all with better offenses than Iowa States?? Ok? and that tells me what?
We also held Minnesota to 13 points, but Kent State scored 14 pts on us, I guess that's because Kent State has a better offense right? Every day in college football is different, you can't just compare how you did against other teams and vice versa.
On the saturday we beat you, we were the better team. There's no way around it. Maybe if we played the Saturday afterwards, we would have lost to you guys'.. But, we didn't.

you're fishing for support on a rivals (I use the term rival loosely) board. probably not gonna rally too many behind you, regardless of how valid your point might be. Why are we arguing "what if's" from a game that happened 7 months ago anyway? don't answer that, it's rhetorical [uniguy googles the definition of rhetorical]

If it makes you feel any better, UNIGuy posts over at HN as "ISU4LYF", and made quite a name for himself rather quickly.

Also, this thread is hilarious. Please continue.

Did you by any chance watch the game? 4 of the turnovers were within ISU's 5 yard line, 1 within the 10. With our Kicker those are definite scores, and seeing as tray averaged 5 yards a carry against yall it's safe to assume we would score a TD atleast 1 time. Maybe you should have researched the game before posting.

For you to say it's insane logic that we would score when we have the ball on your 5 is not particularly intelligent. Those may be different games but our D was incredibly consistent, its reasonable to assume that if 4 teams with much better offenses than ISU couldnt score more than 16 points, ISU wouldnt either. You started the game of what if's, and I logically broke it down.

Something to the affect of would the MVC accept ISU, just established that year-over-year ISU sports in general have been better than Iowa, so that puts Iowa pretty low.

I'm not saying you would have scored or not. Probably would have gotten some type of points. But, I came back with, turnovers are a part of the game. It happens. We took advantage of your backs not being able to hold onto the ball and your QB's lack of accuracy.
I then came back with, what if our starting QB and RB had played? Do you think we would have scored more points? I don't know if we would have or not, but we might have scored at least 1 more field goal.
Either way, it doesn't matter, we won and you lost. Doesn't matter how or why, it just happened.

And yes, I did watch the game. I didn't want to miss ISU beat Nebraska.
