Michigan State vs. Iowa

The play of the game was the intentional PI by MSU. That's a TD otherwise. The other/other play of the game was the fluke interception. The other/other/other play of the game was Iowa's long TD pass coming so soon after the D was on the field too long the series before. The other to the fourth power play of the game... ad infinitum....

As I've mentioned previously, we're really a couple of years off of being really, really really good. It remains to be seen if that happens.

I'm 100% unclear which game some of the rest of you watched. Would OU have rolled IOwa in a CCG? Highly doubtful. The playoffs? Possibly. The playoff games are different/easier for obvious reasons. (although not obvious to a lot of you) .

Thanks God ISU produced HGF, at least I believe he is a former player at ISU, he understands football, and is objective. The rest of you? Not so much.

What a refreshing point of view. FWIW, I think you're on the way. You should have gone to a bowl game this year as talent wise, you were better than in recent memory. To keep a coach around who couldn't develop an offensive line recruiting the Midwest has set you back at least 5 years.

The tavern hawks I know are still crying in the beer about how Iowa had they game won and couldn't stop a freshman from who carried the ball 20 times in one drive. They're worried that if this kid can do it against iowa, what will McC do....

Excellent football game. Iowa proved to the country that they belong in the conversation for College Football's best teams. I'm excited about that. We went a long, long way since last year and Mr. CJ Beathard will still be slinging the rock next season. OFF TO THE ROSES
