I personally blame the NCAA on the eligibility question
NCAA no longer gives a **** about student athletes. He ain't goin to skool now
I have seen a few posters criticize the NCAA about the Malou situation, that seems totally misplaced. Go back and look at Malou's history. In 2011 he attended post-secondary school and played "college" hoops in Austrailia. He then attended ABCD Academy in 2012 & 2013. Finally, in 2014 he went to Yuba and 2015 a combination of Yuba/DMACC.
That is a pretty sketchy academic background and who knows if he was on his track to get his Associates. Combine that with his family situation, it's easy to see he might have decided it's time to make money playing pro ball in the NBA or overseas.
