Scorers are coming next year, he could be the facilitator of a much better offense in a couple years.Imagine the numbers he’d have with some capable scorers around him. Last night alone there were more blown assists than I could count.

At risk of turning this into a Hunter thread, you know that he's capable of improvement as a shooter, right? Not saying he'll quite keep up that efficiency, but it seems absolutely possible that he identified shooting as the biggest weakness of his game and worked hard to fix it.Hunter is not going to be AA. Do you think he can keep up his current pace, 56% FG, 39% 3 pts, and 93% from FT? This is not a sour grape. I never thought he was a good PG. He is a shooting guard in a PG body. He is more like Lindell Wigginton but a much better defender and much worse shooter.
He will improve but not enough to make him a good/great shooter. Do you think he will shoot over 45% this season? At risk of turning this into a Hunter thread, you know that he's capable of improvement as a shooter, right? I'm very thankful for Tamin. I think he is already a very good player and has the potential to be a great one. But let's not pretend like we wouldn't love to have Hunter on the team right now.
I think it's possible. The fact that his efficiency has improved from every part of the court makes me tend to believe that it's not just luck. We're obviously still in small sample sizes, but also it's not like he has one great game just distorting all of his numbers. And with how hard he works, I have a tough time putting a ceiling on his improvement. He will improve but not enough to make him a good/great shooter. Do you think he will shoot over 45% this season?
Am I the only one who think Lipsey is a better PG than Hunter? I really like him not forcing anything and takes what is given by defense.
He's at 56.8% right now.He will improve but not enough to make him a good/great shooter. Do you think he will shoot over 45% this season?

He has good form. He is a really good FT shooter at almost 90%. I think he can turn himself into a good 3pt shooter with work. If he puts in the time he will get better. I think he will shoot over 45% this year because he does a good job of not forcing anything and playing within himself. He will improve but not enough to make him a good/great shooter. No, he does not have good form. He might shoot a little better this year due to taking better shots due better players around him.He has good form. He is a really good FT shooter at almost 90%. Honestly I'm not sure what direction we go with transfers next season. Obviously we know nothing at this point what next season will hold, who will stay, honor their covid year, transfer, etc. But looking at our potential lineup next year it should be pretty good:The Tamin/Jerimiah Williams point guard platoon surrounded by Milan and Omaha will be fun. Grill would be welcomed back for another year but another shooting/scoring guard out of the portal is likely Priority A this Spring.
I don't know, but he's clearly much for efficient than he was last year. Fans are just trying to convince themselves that it's not a big deal we lost him and that Lipsey is better for us.Do you think he can keep that up?
He is taking better shots so his shooting percentage will go up, but there is no way a SG can shoots over 55%. I predict it will end up around 42%I don't know, but he's clearly much for efficient than he was last year.
Wait, are we talking about Lipsey or Hunter? No, he does not have good form. He might shoot a little better this year due to taking better shots due better players around him.

I thought you were trying to bring the thread back to Lipsey and stop this Hunter nonsense.Wait, are we talking about Lipsey or Hunter?
He may end up being but you are being disingenuous if you think you can already tell.Am I the only one who think Lipsey is a better PG than Hunter? I really like him not forcing anything and takes what is given by defense.

My opinion is based on what I have seen from Hunter last year. He is a good combo guard but not a good PG. He is playing a combo guard this year for Texas. He may end up being but you are being disingenuous if you think you can already tell.
