Just based upon previous players like Tyrus, Naz and Monte they put in the extra time to improve their shot. I would assume he probably is but I'm not sure considering the workload for freshmen can be daunting.This isn't exactly new information. I doubt that it took Big 12 coaches 20 games worth of film to find the "kryptonite" that he doesn't shoot 3s.
He wasn't a 3 point shooter in high school, not sure why anyone would have expected that to change in a major way by mid way through his freshman season. I imagine it will be something that will be worked on for many hours in the off season, if it's not already.
