Here is his backstory:

Committed to Oregon
Didn't qualify and went juco for freshman season (Southern Idaho)
Went to Tennessee for sophomore season - barely played (5.5 min/game)
Now coming to ISU to sit one and play two

Anyways, I like this addition. High ceiling, and worst case is he's another big body to throw in with Lard and Young.

I like it, don't love it. Great for depth, but hopefully won't be relied on to do too much. If he's at least Edozie-level serviceable I'm fine with it.

Definitely has some athleticism, and could be a nice defensive presence down low. No idea why he doesn't have the production to back it up, but if they figure out how to use him, he could provide some McKay-type numbers I would think. At least the potential appears to be there.

He looks a lot for fluid than Edozie. Edozie was big and fairly athletic, but played rigid. Kasongo moves more like Hogue to me. A little bigger, probably not quite as quick and not as skilled offensively as Hogue though.

I was amused by the hawk fan saying ISU is garbage. I guess that means Iowa can't even make it as trash men, because it's been a long time since they've been able to take the garbage out.
