Going to be really interesting to see what way they go. What is more valuable, keeping Jones and filling in around him with lower contracts or keeping the other guys and letting Jones go. Tranquill only signed a one year deal as well.

No. I’ve listened to many post game interviews. Mahomes shows great sportsmanship to the other team. Always. Class act.
He’s been pissed at the refs a couple of times and lost his cool this year, yes. But listen to what he actually says rather than overreactions from Twitter. My post was spot on.
Not at all. The complete meltdown after the Buffalo Toney Offsides game aside, Mahomes has always come across as a class act and gracious. He even had a good apology after that game. That game was sort of the breaking point for Mahomes and Reid. They really had a lot of close games that were decided by a lot of WR drops/errors. Kelce had a really bad fumble in a game in the red zone too. Mahomes (and Reid) always take the blame, I think Mahomes said he could have thrown a ball a little better to MVS who had it drop out of his gloves.
You see a side of him being very gracious in the Quarterback show on Netflix too. On the field he is a huge competitor but after the game he always has nice words for the other team, him giving praise to Maxx Crosby is an example.
Chiefs have really benefited playing two very, very banged up defenses. Their defense has been good all year, it was the offense dragging the team down.

Baltimore has been the best team in the league the past couple of months, Jackson has been giving teams fits and he is throwing the ball well and they have a very good run game. The Chiefs will have to play mistake free football and we need a huge game from Mahomes again.
If the Chiefs can keep it close, Jackson will start ******** and calling out his teammates, he is a true frontrunner, and struggles when the pressure is on him in my opinion.

Nnadi was missed last night in the run game. Have to try to keep him too, especially if Jones walks.
Danna you'd like to keep but second contracts are tricky. Is it friendly or does he want tier two money?
If you look at one of the teams that had the most success against the Ravens Defense in the past couple months, its the Rams and they did it mostly through the air. They play a lot of different coverages trying to confuse the QB an experienced good QB like Stafford was able to find the weaknesses so I think Mahomes can do it, you just can't force anything and turn the ball over. I think the biggest question mark for me for the Chiefs is if they can stop the run . That was their worst game all year against the Bills against the run except for the 4th. So hopefully they get Nnadi and Gay back and use Gay as a spy. Also need either Brian Cook or Mike Edwards to be back for the game. Bush was fine but the Chiefs didn't use a lot of the blitzes they usually do because they didn't want to leave Bush exposed.

Edwards barely played last night because he got put in concussion protocol. But yeah they can find another vet as a backup at safety.

Always? You mean aside from the Buffalo game where he made a scene on the sidelines and had to be held back by teammates, then complained to Josh Allen when they went in for the handshake? He even admitted that he regretted his actions, later after the moment had passed. He may do things the right way most of the time, but that incident definitely happened, and it wasn't good sportsmanship.
So one time? Cool.
All that happened. Once in what is already a fairly long career doesn’t concern me. Him taking responsibility for it also tells me something.
I take heat of the moment actions with a total grain of salt. Allen isn't some angel on the sideline 100% of the time either, no QB is.

@CloneIce is the one who said he's "always" a good sport, not me. I'm just pointing out that if a very visible, bad sportsmanship incident occurred in the last 60 days, maybe "always" isn't the best choice of words.
People have to find something.
Mahomes, like him or not, is one of those exceptional and rare talents similar to Jordan, Brady, and Tiger Woods.
Gotta find something to hate about him if you are not a fan.

So you found one incident in 6 years that reflected poorly and based your assessment entirely on that, while ignoring hundreds of examples of good sportsmanship? One that he apologized and took responsibility for.

He is always a good sport to the other team. A couple of times he got pissed at the refs. And the desperate Chiefs haters grasp at those incidents like a drowning man going for a life jacket.
