Spencer Brown is having a nice game for the Bills. Looks like Anthony Munoz against this DL. I know there are like 50 people from Lenox there.
I'm a big Chiefs fan but this defense feels a lot like the 2018 season where they could not stop anyone and relied on the offense to outscore teams. And even as bad as that defense was this one almost feels like it could be worse so far. Can't stop the run and gives up too many big gain plays. Got some talent to get a pass rush when they blitz but when they do seems like they get burned for a big play most of the time.
I dunno how they improve it other than hitting on more draft picks because there is too much money tied up in big contracts to overhaul it in free agency and trades like they did with the OL.

Agreed difference is that in 2018 nobody knew what Chiefs had in Mahomes. They were completely unprepared for how good he was and we could just take top off defenses. Teams have adjusted. Teams will be happy to make us drive field and hopefully hold us to 3. Defensively every 4th and short or sometimes 4th and 5 teams are keeping their offense on the field and it's smart. We aren't likely to stop them and if we do we're going to drive between 20s anyway.looks like a 9-8, 10-7 wildcard team
Welp. This team is really close to having a 1-4 record. Gonna lose tonight and they were a botched punt away from losing to Cleveland. No pass rush right now and the secondary is awful, now we've got a pick-6 thrown into the mix.
How about drafting Mike Rose? Watching AJ Klein tonight and he might be one of the best players Rhoads put in the NFL. 9th season now and still making big plays when it matters and still underrated.
I agree except I think secondary is actually the best unit on defense not to say its good.
Defensive line- Attrocious
Linebackers- Awful
Secondary- Bad
Eh... a late fumble against Baltimore and a poor 4th down flag against LA and your 5-0... schedule will get much easier.
Chiefs season expectations feeling a lot like the Cyclones right now. Lot of hype before the season started but the on field results are not what we thought they would be.
That was a BS penalty on the Chiefs. The call before that was a BS penalty on the Bills. Refs are taking over and that is not a good thing
I can't figure out what Thornhill is doing that could possibly be worse than Sorensen. I'll admit I went to bed when the weather delay went down and stuff but man he got spun around and basically was directly responsible for two WIDE OPEN touchdowns in the first half.
This defense is just terrible though. I mean absolutely awful. It needs a complete overhaul.

The play at DE is atrocious, the LB cannot reliably run-fit nor cover. I kinda like some of their CB and Thornhill, but for some reason Sorenson is the A1 at safety. The entire Defense needs a complete overhaul.
Every one is talking about the Defense ....WHICH WAS BAD...but the offensive line wasn't much better with Mahomes under pressure all night long and running for his life
