I think we've proven as a species that we still have a lot of evolution yet to go before we can truly be called a well developed, intelligent lifeform. Kids wearing bullet proof backpacks, parades being rammed with cars, carrying guns is cool, carrying/shooting semi-automatic rifles as a family in campaign commercials is somehow positive... it is so sad. I'll stop there as it will naturally turn too political otherwise.

But most of that’s just America. Not the whole human species.

Initial speculation was two guys got into an argument in the parking garage/union station. If so, that would support your guess that this wasn’t a targeted mass-shooting event.

There has been unconfirmed reports that one of the three individuals had a rifle.

I’m very eager to learn facts from the result of the investigation…

from the interview I heard with one of the bystanders who tackled a suspect - one of the shooters jaw was completely blown off. I also heard people say one of the people in the other group was shot multiple times.

If you watch the videos, the rate of fire was very fast. 20 ish shots fired in just a few seconds.

Per eyewitness interviews yesterday there were two groups in the altercation. One with two big guys. The other with several smaller guys. Someone from the group of small guys grabbed a gun out of a bag and that’s when the shootout happened. There is still much confusion but it sounded like fire was returned by the other group.
