Jomal Wiltz Commits

I hope we still have a chance at Albert as well. Would be a nice couple of corners.

Still after Albert, he will announce later this week. I've heard both Wednesday and Thursday on him, not sure which it will be.

I don't think he made it to Nebraska, so that has to help our cause.

Every site, including the Trinity Valley CC roster lists him as 5'10" tall. Rivals is the only one listing him at 5'9". So he is not big. But he is evidently at least 5'9" to 5'10" tall. Which makes him about 3 inches taller than Ellis Hobbs, Jeremy Reeves, and Sam Richardson. And about the same height as Leonard Johnson.

And I find the continual negativity shown by some is not funny. Time to stop it. Say something good about our recruits or nothing at all.

Show me a school that doesn't exaggerate height/weight and I'll give you all of the money the world has to offer.

Here's the thing about the recruits this staff gets, many of them don't belong in the conference. Our constant bottom-dwelling tells us this much. Now, I have no idea if this kid is a stud or not. I'm just making a broad observation.

You don't have to look far, Iowa state is as honest as it gets with player height and weights.

Can we just all get along, possibly letting negativity about any recruits wait for 24 hours would at least provide the new student athletes some optimism that we're not all a_ _ holes

OK, group hug

Our 2 best corners in the Rhoads era were 5'10 (Leonard Johnson) and 5'7 (Jeremy Reeves). Nothing wrong with a small corner

Are you combining the differences? Ellis Hobbs is 5'9"...

Ellis Hobbs was only 5'7" when he came to Iowa State. From the Iowa State Roster when he was a junior.

Great get - welcome aboard, Mr. Wiltz!

Here are his stats from this past season. 14 pass break-ups & 1 interception & 3rd on the team in tackles @ 79. Can play corner or safety, so has versatility there in addition to being a returner & a gunner on special teams. We need players across the board, and Wiltz fits the description whether 5'10" or 6'10" tall.
