I know there is a post in the recruiting thread but figured a thread highlighting his commitment was needed. Great pickup. CB who has great return skills as a PR and KR.

Wonder what the plans for this guy are. Is he an instant starter, is he expected to sit out a season, is he expected to play but in a backup role?

Spring enrollee. Probably will compete for playing time. After 5-19, I think every position is open. Don't know much about him other than that.

Just stop. Please.

Stop what. It is the naysayers who should just stop. They criticize and ridicule the great commitments we have recently had and say they should have gone somewhere else. You need to tell THEM to stop.

From my understanding is that he has great speed. Between 4.4 and 4.45. He can cover in both man and in zone. He has excellent upper body strength. He will make an impact on special teams. He is an excellent PR and KR.

If you were being sarcastic then I apologize. I didn't see a sarcastic face in your post lol

But I agree with what you said above.

*I'm going to slightly complain*

These short DB's don't get me excited. We need big DB's in this league.

Yeah, because big and fast CBs with great ball skills are so easy to find. Since we don't have our pick of blue-chippers, I will always take shorter/fast over taller/slower.

You guys take things so personal sometimes. A 5'9", 170 pound CB is small. Especially for the Big 12. Those numbers are from Rivals, by the way.

Every site, including the Trinity Valley CC roster lists him as 5'10" tall. Rivals is the only one listing him at 5'9". So he is not big. But he is evidently at least 5'9" to 5'10" tall. Which makes him about 3 inches taller than Ellis Hobbs, Jeremy Reeves, and Sam Richardson. And about the same height as Leonard Johnson.

And I find the continual negativity shown by some is not funny. Time to stop it. Say something good about our recruits or nothing at all.
