The pressure on the student section to perform when hoks come to Hilton is going to be huge. I trust some young, creative minds will have a solid game plan.
I think a row of students dressed as ice cubes is a good start. Someone else can work on the theatrics.

I saw that the Informer was getting some inbound links from this forum again and couldn't stop myself from taking a look. As the site's editor, I can assure you that you aren't accurately describing what went into the reporting and editing of this particular story, but I'm also well aware of how some of you continue to mischaracterize the Carson King situation at the Register — in a manner that, frankly, borders on obsession sometimes. I'll spare myself the trouble of engaging with you on that as well as a couple of the other ill-informed comments on this thread, aside from saying that Aaron is doing just fine and contributed to the Informer in the recent past, as he was also freelancing for several prominent national publications with readership in the hundreds of thousands or millions, because he believes in the site's purpose.

For those of you who have an interest in engaging in good faith, I'd encourage you to read the article linked below for a sense of how Paul Parizek operates, and as an example that's actually related to the comment that led to the comment I've quoted above. It's a deeply researched and important investigative story that took us months to put together and is one of the best examples on the site of why I launched it five years ago.

to quote Connor Mcgregor “who the fook is this guy”?

Like I said, I posted it for those interested in reading it and considering it in good faith. I would encourage you to drop your guard as a troll and consider actually reading it.

I'm shocked to hear that you don't like the publication but as I said before, I'm more than happy to discuss how the Informer goes about reporting and editing stories with people who are actually interested in learning about the amount of work that goes into these articles behind the scenes. My contact info is easy to find. Your tall tale is amusing but give me a break.

Some of you may recall the thread that was started a while ago about my reporting on Scott Griffen (http://iowainformer.com/mountebank/). It was generally well received, compared to this anyway. There was another thread about our comparably robust reporting on the owner of Jethro's (http://iowainformer.com/society-culture/2020/10/jethros-bbq-splash-bruce-gerleman-sexual-harassment/) that was eventually nuked by a mod over the hysterical level of vitriol it attracted. There was only one reason for the disparate reactions, and I bet you all can guess what that was.

In any case, thanks for the interest, I suppose. Now take a deep breath and get back to hating on JBo.
Well, it is a hating JBo thread, so get the **** out

-Have the student section sing "mama said knock you out!" During his intro.
-Or better yet, have the PA guy play the song right before his free throws.
-Printed photo of him laying on the ground printed on a big cardboard and used as a distraction during free-throws.

Maybe more people would read what you linked in good faith if your approach was different. Is that really what your true intentions were in posting here? Judging by your responses to other posters, I have to admit it's hard for me to come to that conclusion.

"Ugly scene, I don't recommend you watching it."
"There was a discussion."
"My first inclination was to reach out to Jordan and his family."
"Fans of other teams glad that Jordan was knocked out."
"Can't we just be humans?"
"And no one deserves to be attacked by an individual he didn't see coming."

Like there is ball washing and then there is whatever this is. This is just on another level and kind of sick. What a weird guy/player to hitch your wagon so firmly with. Good luck with that Chad. Lol
