Think of where this would be if we didn't have the video? JorBo, Fran and their lackeys are exaggerating and completely lying about what happened when we've all seen exactly what happened. Without the video, who knows where how far they'd be taking it.

It would have been funnier if it were like bandgate, let them lie for a while and then BOOM!

"Ugly scene, I don't recommend you watching it."
"There was a discussion."
"My first inclination was to reach out to Jordan and his family."
"Fans of other teams glad that Jordan was knocked out."
"Can't we just be humans?"
"And no one deserves to be attacked by an individual he didn't see coming."

This can't be real

Like I said, for those interested in acting in good faith. It's easy to ****-talk and be a douchebag online, I promise you I do not give a **** about your opinions.

Well I would like to apologize to everyone for derailing this thread, and apologize for this one probably ending up in the cave. However with you here I would be happy to say it again to your face. I don't have much respect for your publication. I don't want to give too many personal details because I'm not sure you are above doxxing someone. I've had to watch people I care about going down a downward spiral and you made it worse by publishing a young man's personal dirty laundry about his dad. Like I said, I'm not going to defend the guy or say he was some great dad. If anything I should hate him too. Your publication was so obsessed with trying to take down your perceived bad guy you failed to consider that you were doing far more damage than good. In good faith I hope you take this and maybe learn something from it. I fear maybe you care more about the exposure you could get from such a story, but I sincerely hope you did it for the right reasons.

And for reference, I could care less about the Carson King story or Aaron Calvin. It's the editors who decide what to publish.

Laughed out loud at the thought of dude returning to Ames to play this coming season after leaving his shoes on the court. Two years ago. This guy can’t get enough. I predict he replaces dolphin or podalak and entertains hawk nation, and frequents iowa city bars, for decades more.

Gavin, I wish you would have stopped yourself. The story in question is complete garbage. The narrative is complete garbage. I know what Aaron is, and I know what you are as well. I don't blame the police for shunning activists who are more concerned about stirring the pot and nailing police to the wall than finding out what actually happened.

With the gift of hindsight, when considering what we have learned about all the victims in that piece, I can't believe you have the audacity to show up here. And the fact that you're going after Parizek says far more about yours and Aaron's failings as human beings than him. If your publication ceased to exist tomorrow, it would be too soon. And if the world were lucky enough for that to happen, it would be a better and happier place.
Like I said, I posted it for those interested in reading it and considering it in good faith. I would encourage you to drop your guard as a troll and consider actually reading it.

I'm shocked to hear that you don't like the publication but as I said before, I'm more than happy to discuss how the Informer goes about reporting and editing stories with people who are actually interested in learning about the amount of work that goes into these articles behind the scenes. My contact info is easy to find. Your tall tale is amusing but give me a break.

Some of you may recall the thread that was started a while ago about my reporting on Scott Griffen (http://iowainformer.com/mountebank/). It was generally well received, compared to this anyway. There was another thread about our comparably robust reporting on the owner of Jethro's (http://iowainformer.com/society-culture/2020/10/jethros-bbq-splash-bruce-gerleman-sexual-harassment/) that was eventually nuked by a mod over the hysterical level of vitriol it attracted. There was only one reason for the disparate reactions, and I bet you all can guess what that was.

In any case, thanks for the interest, I suppose. Now take a deep breath and get back to hating on JBo.
