ISU v Drake Postgame...

Nice to see us put the hammer back down when they started to come back on the road...Drake has some good talent, I don't think they will be back to doormat status anytime soon. Will be fun to watch them and UNI battle for 2nd best in the state on a yearly basis.

McD finally gets his win against Drake. Kind of hurts to say that, but it's true. Even better that it was on the road!

Props to the Drake fans though. It sounded pretty loud on TV, even when their team was down by 20, it didn't sound like anyone was leaving til the very end.
 
Great game by Lucca. Only problem is that the rest of the team doesn't always work hard for good shots when Lucca's on fire. That allowed Drake to come back against us last year, but Lucca was too much this year.
 
Everyone is going to talk about Lucca for obvious reasons, but I think SC was my favorite player to watch out there tonight. He's got a stronger all-around game than what I thought he would. He's going to be a nice player. Shoots well, passes well, finished in the lane, few rebounds, solid on-ball d...just looked really comfortable out there in general.
 
I'll tell you what, I was tuning in via CloneZone and I just have to say...Larry Cotlar is un-listenable! My god! That was just really horrible play-by-play. Makes me proud and happy to have John.

Good game by the 'Clones. Nice to go into their house and dismantle them for what they have done. They have some really surprising shooters though.
 
A very nice game by us, definitely happy.

Drake isn't very good though. They have like 11 newcomers on their roster.
 
Colvin is gonna be good...and Garrett is just solid as hell. this team is soooo balanced. We need to play someone good soon, as we need to be tested.
 
I think we should start vanderbeken over hamilton personally, i really like what he brings i love hamilton but i think vanderbeken is more of a contributor, also i love the rotation with chisterpherson and gilstrap, if lucca knock down threes like that all year same with chisterpherson, we'll be fine, i like gilstrap in there to for energy and hustle points. Brackins is still the man, and DG deffiantly knows how to lead the team, i smell the NCAA tournament
