According to GMac's Twitter page it was a productive 10 day recruiting trip. Like any kool-aide drinking Cyclone fan; I read that to mean he landed a 5-star or two 4-stars.

If only value was exclusively determined by quantity...Wow, a whole 7 posts and you can start telling people to leave? Wow, looks like I should have been a mod a couple hundred times over by now.
Was/is Jake associated with AIA?... ISU's own Jake Sullivan says he's a top 50-100 player.
Was/is Jake associated with AIA?

why would a hawk fan want to be a mod on a cyclone message board?? it just doesn't make any sense![]()
I wish..means more that he saw and evaluated a lot of guys we're already recruiting.According to GMac's Twitter page it was a productive 10 day recruiting trip. Like any kool-aide drinking Cyclone fan; I read that to mean he landed a 5-star or two 4-stars.
I think that should read all.All of what I do doesn't make much sense if you haven't noticed.
Yeah, so although he is an a Cyclone (implying impartiality towards McCabe), he is is hardly a neutral authority.Isn't he the coach? Or am I way off??
Not a surprising reaction.

We can't win the Big 12 with Iowa kids.........
yeah, let's overlook our instate talent so we can get the same talent from outstate. Great way to build a program.
ISU did have Peterson, Sean, Thompson, and LA on the team last year...we know how that turned out. Are there any Iowans that were seniors in college last year that were significantly better? We can't win the Big 12 with Iowa kids.........

Bo isn't as high on some of our commits and recruits as many on here are. Also, when asked in the past about the rating services (rivals, scout) he kinda laughed and said most of them don't know their heads from their arses. He implied they basically get about the top 10-20 right, and after that it's tough to distinguish between #25 and #125. At that point, it is mostly how a kid fits into a certain system.
Mccabe..if he wasn't on a hot streak from downtown, he wouldn't have any of these offers.
Just a guess, but...Please share more
I can believe it can give some coaches illusions that others do not see. Plus some of these guys have commits from studs, they can afford to take a chance. McD took chances on similar players in the past and we know how that turned out in the Big 12.Really? Do you believe that a bunch of college coaches saw a guy get hot from 3 in a tourney and decided that they had to offer.
I mean, it's so rare for someone to get hot from 3 in these tourneys, right? They'd never seen it before.
Get that kid an offer. He's hot from downtown!!!!!!!!!!!!

Coaches do not try to build a roster with players of different skill sets/abilities, especially ones that already have a few athletic, well-rounded, highly ranked players on the bench? When you only get 13 bball scholarships, it's absolutely, positively ridiculous to think that he only got these offers because he got hot from downtown in one tourney as cyismydog said.
There are tons of kids who find their range for a couple of days, but there's no way that a coach at a Minnesota or Utah or any other major is going to offer a scholarship because of it as he stated.
