That offense 2017 was better than this 1 for sure. I believe this defense is better though
Yeah ISU's QBs need to do more lifting than Iowa's by how the teams are built.
Petras just needs to not screw up but I'd guess he's not meeting that standard.
On sound off that I heard on the way home. People were saying that not having Doyle is the reason.

Yes, a caller said that. Several were saying the team isn’t as good without Doyle and you could tell they were upset with him being gone.
Thats crazy. Defense and ST have basically been elite for a couple years. I don't know if the offense is all Brian's fault or if he's handcuffed or what but that's nuts to hear.
They were ripping on the Oline. Has not been good for a couple years they said. I only heard a very small part of the show so who knows what was all said.

They’ve had great individual guys but yeah their lines haven’t been that good.
Agree. Always have a nice player or two but as a whole they have not been good.
Yeah, the Cy- Hawk game the last few years hasn't been determined by who the better individual at QB is. Purdy in a lot of ways was responsible for the loss last year, despite being a thousand times the QB Petras is.
