Why is the defense all camped in the lane? Step out and force a 5 count. It's a 2 way street. Also, Madrid did it to DMC in a prior meeting. He's right on that one though. Holding the ball like that is Bush League

Quin looking at his many pics of Chad L., Sean B., John Sears, Scott D, and Tom K in his room. (RIP Screech)Anybody says anything negative about Iowa or an Iowa sportswriter, he's right there to defend them and interject himself.
Really lack of local sponsorships? Unusual for a radio station to not want to support the local high schools.
He's posting scores from the weekend. Their radio station is evidently so out of the loop they're just now finding out who won. What the heck is that supposed to mean?
Either way, you just aren't converting fans in that area of the state. I lived in CR 20 years ago and it's no different today then it was then. On the flip side, the Des Moines Metro fanscape has changed massively since I moved back to Iowa in the mid 2000's. Iowa used to OWN this market but that is no longer the case.
It's way better personally. ISU fans wear their colors with pride around town now. That wasn't the case until the past 5-10 years. I see Iowa State flags in people's yards and Cyclone plates on cars more often as well. Years ago, I had Cyclone plates, but got rid of them after having my car key scratched. As a consultant, I couldn't afford the business hit when people rejected me based on my plates. Stupid, but true.
It's no shocker that the local media has been slower to change. I got into a small argument a long time ago with John Walters at the local DQ, when I asked him why he ignores ISU. His snarky response was to look at a map. My retort was then all the DSM should ignore Iowa. He didn't bother engaging further with me. I think Scott Saville is slightly better, but knows where his money comes from.
I wish more of the ISU grads who work at Rockwell Collins would make themselves vocal and show the true demographics of CR, but unfortunately the piss and black knuckle draggers remain the most vocal.
Thanks for the heads up. I was writing Campbell and had Walters on my mind. Corrected.I'm so confused by this. Since when has John Walters ignored ISU?
Todd tries I give him credit for that and respect him, but its incredibly hard as a lifelong Hawkeye fan and alum for him. Alex Kuhn I think is from Memphis or something yet seems to hate ISU for some reason. When the B12 was blowing up Alex Kuhn seemed giddy.
That kid is a loser, and I have no idea how he got any job in sports media. Even Sears hides his hawk fandom better than that kid. Director of sports for a radio station and still actively goes out of his way to engage in Cy-hawk beef. Hasn't grown up one bit since high school.Hi Quinn Douglas. I'm sorry I called you a fat turd with a neck beard. Perhaps if you weren't a fat turd with a neck beard, I wouldn't have called you that.
If I were trying to get into Sports Media, I wouldn't be so biased towards one team/against one team. It REALLY limits your opportunities. That kid is a loser, and I have no idea how he got any job in sports media. Even Sears hides his hawk fandom better than that kid. Director of sports at a most likely one sports broadcaster station. Title is kinda fluff I'm guessing. That kid is a loser, and I have no idea how he got any job in sports media. Seems like a lot of work to only make $20,000/yr before taxes. At least it comes with having ~1,500 Twitter followers.Director of sports at a most likely one sports broadcaster station. Title is kinda fluff I'm guessing.
I called game for a radio station for a couple years. I made 35 bucks a night. Can't remember if I got fuel for away games. It was not a big money thing. When they hired a full timer I was kinda happy. I voluntarily did wrestling meets with them since he was totally clueless with them.Seems like a lot of work to only make $20,000/yr before taxes. I thought I read somewhere that his press pass was ultimately approved. Is that not the case?I think there was room for compromise until Todd started sharing screenshots of his email correspondence with Shoultz on Twitter to try to rile up his fan base. At that point, his press credentials weren't going to get approved.

I have no clue. I'm not paying attention to him anymore. I'm just gonna let him scream into the void about it.I thought I read somewhere that his press pass was ultimately approved. Is that not the case?
