When are we going to get another Chad L. headline saying how brilliant Bluder is?

By brilliant he really means that she's lucky she has the best player in the country and lets her shoot when/how she wants. What else is there really to game plan...besides clearly not caring about defense.

She’s a physical girl. Honestly, she’s got as good of a post game from a technical and footwork perspective as you could get. I made my daughter watch how well she seals off the defender and uses her footwork, body, and elbows to move the defender out of the way to get buckets.

Bluders team was record setting last night. They gave up more points in the title game than anyone. Record setting.

Clark also wasn't getting away with her flops last night, especially in the second half. She has been getting those calls consistently all season, home or away.

This reminds me of Caleb Grill's "TO" gesture....we all LOVED it.....but similar....BUT, if a UT player did it to us in a return game, would totally respect it and understand the why. Even if a player did this to us for the first time, would appreciate the trash talk.

I think everyone has such a "lens" on this stuff. It's the whole "you shouldn't score if you knew you'd win"...but also "then stop us"....both can be true.

I think about things like J-Bo leaving his shoes on the court....loved it for the rivalry (as did the Georges kiss)....but both drew LOTS of smoke. I think J-Bo's was a bit too calculated (and was after a win...i.e. "classless" as i'm seeing many hawkeyes say today).

I just don't care that much about any of this stuff. I don't like what Angel Reese did, I don't think you need to follow her around doing it, but Clark sucked it up like you should and moved on. She's not making a big deal of out of it. It's not like Clark doesn't rub people's faces in it.

I caught part of Miller and Condon on the way to the dentist today (can't say I've listened to them more than a handful of times). Who is Trent Condon, I assume an Iowa fan? He was really getting into Kim M's antics saying she's "an embarrassment to basketball" & "moronic, looks like an idiot" etc..

I'm not seeing much difference between Kim and Fran. Does local radio (or even Trent) talk about Fran the same way?

Trent is a big Iowa fan, but in his defense he also feels Fran's antics are clownish.

Trent also said this morning that Hawk fans should get over the trash talk by the LSU player. He said perhaps it was excessive but Iowa does it too, which is loved, so you better be able to take it. Good for him for saying that.

She may be all of these things, but at the end of the day, the woman has four national championships.

Difference between Trent and a lot of Hawkeye writers is Trent is open/honest about his fandom. Many others pretend they're unbias journalists.

There is the typical hawkeye fan in a nutshell. They love to spew crap, but you toss even the smallest back at them and they go ballistic.
