Caitlin had a Pippen. She needed a deeper bench
Iowa was a flawed team. They had one superstar and one good post. The rest were role players that were mildly athletic and generally short. Clark made up for that most nights because she was that damn good. It’s hard to win a championship when things rely so much on one person not just being great, but being a generational talent on her A game every single game.

The funniest part is that Clark, Czinano, and Warnock FINALLY got called for the **** they've been getting away with ALL YEAR.

That's not on today's officials. It's on the officials from their other 30+ games who were too chicken to make those calls.
Exactly

Iowa lost because they gave up more than 100. The bogus technical didn’t lose them the game. The officiating was terrible both ways. Iowa just got beat by the better team today.
LSU missed both free throws on the technical, so all it did was give Clark another foul. Clark is a horrible defender and every opposing coach knows it. There is a reason Bluder buries her on defense she is not a good defender.

I saw a lot of Big Ten fans saying this - Iowa has been given special treatment all year and gets away with the fouls they got called for against LSU.

For whatever reason, Hlas made sure to tell his readers in his postgame— “It was not a rout.”
Words like "rout", "crushed", "overpowered", "overwhelmed", "outclassed" are only for ISU.

When Iowa loses, words such as "valiant effort", "never gave up", "classy effort" are used.

Saturday I told a friend that Iowa fans will be insufferable whether the Hawks win or lose Sunday.

Wish I could predict lotto numbers with has much certainty

IM HERE FOR IT!

(unless LSU wins by 15 and talks trash then smh just so disrespectful and the refs need investigated smh).
I saw that...what a tool......i do love that the folks outside of iowa (i.e. national folks, atheletes, etc) are basically all "for it" too.

This reminds me of Caleb Grill's "TO" gesture....we all LOVED it.....but similar....BUT, if a UT player did it to us in a return game, would totally respect it and understand the why. Even if a player did this to us for the first time, would appreciate the trash talk.

I think everyone has such a "lens" on this stuff. It's the whole "you shouldn't score if you knew you'd win"...but also "then stop us"....both can be true.

I think about things like J-Bo leaving his shoes on the court....loved it for the rivalry (as did the Georges kiss)....but both drew LOTS of smoke. I think J-Bo's was a bit too calculated (and was after a win...i.e. "classless" as i'm seeing many hawkeyes say today).

Technically they missed the foul free throws and made the technical free throws.
