Nevada is giving up nearly 6 yards per play. They're much closer to SE Missouri St than South Dak State. This feels like it could be Petras' first 200 yard regular season passing effort since the Maryland game last year.

I congratulated ISU on the win. Just my opinion that both teams have a lot to work on if they want the season they want to have. I feel both teams are 7-5 ish at this point. That can change though.

Their offense is pretty bad still. QB play has been pretty suspect. I think it could be close but Iowa pulls it out.

Iowa's D and special teams will get them wins or keep them in a lot of games. They aren't going to fall off a cliff IMO especially with the B1G West being so brutally bad.

I wouldn’t make any judgements based on a team playing against Iowa. It’s barely football playing against Iowa.

Pretty soon they will have a game score of nil-nil.

Turnovers and special teams will kill us this year if we don't figure that out. But Iowa State moved the ball all over the field on a top 5 defense. That's really encouraging. And honestly I haven't ever been wowed by CMC's ISU teams in the month of September. They've usually hit their stride come October.

It's time that the Big Ten just rename their divisions to Big Ten and Little Ten.

The last time a team from the West won the Big 10 Title was in 2012. It was Legends vs. Leaders and Wisconsin routed Nebraska 70-31. The only reason Wisconsin played in the game though was because 12-0 Ohio State was banned from playing in the post season..

That Wisconsin team went 8-6.

No deal. I could see that happening, like I said it is a long season and teams can and do improve over the course of the year. I'm not ready to write my Hawks off yet either, but obviously their offense needs to start showing a pulse soon or they will be home for the holidays.

Meh. I think they beat Nevada, @Rutgers, Northwestern, Nebraska, and split with @Illinois/@Purdue. I wouldn't rule out beating Wisconsin in kinnick either.. they just lost to Washington State in Madison.

The Big Ten West is always bad. It's especially bad this year.
