I know you didn't say it here, but a lot of people continue to beat the drum that Nebraska totally gave that game away. ISU was lucky to get that many turnovers but if you watch them they also did a lot of things to create turnovers including positioning, stripping the ball, and hitting ball carriers hard.
Once kNU gave it up a couple of times that D could smell blood in the water and it was in the heads of the kNU players - a dangerous combination. It isn't the first time that an ISU D has created a ton of turnovers to beat a Lincoln team either. In 1976 ISU forced 8 Nebraska fumbles and intercepted one as well.
