Our schedule has bounced around from 1-10, but there's little doubt in my mind we faced the toughest in the nation along with a few other Big 12 teams.
Great for UNI and good for ISU. Further helps our resume and seed. Hopefully Chattanooga can win their tourney this week too
If Alvarez can't get Tony Bennett then he will hire Gard. Gard did a damn good job this year.
If Wich St was any other MVC team would they be on the wrong side of the bubble?
I certainly don't see how their resume says 7 seed as Lunardi has them with a 47 RPI.
If you say RPI doesn't matter as much and it's who you beat and how you're playing lately, UNI should be seeded much higher than WSU.

Anyone who has followed me on here the last couple of basketball seasons knows that I am a proud and passionate dual ISU/UNI fan (and for the record since they play in different conferences and different divisions in football and usually don't recruit the same athletes I don't think it's the worst thing in the world the way some Cyclone and Panther fans feel.)
Anyway, that is the kind of win that just leaves me exhausted in the best possible way, but it's complete agony to go through as a fan.
I really hope ISU has nothing but double-digit victories from here on out until April. I don't know how many more close games I can handle anymore.

The tables are turning for Gard to be offered a long term contract already.
Alvarez opened that job a couple of weeks ago...think it was basically so that Gard was the one candidate.
