I'm not sure who I want to face on Wednesday. One thing I do know, with Iowa State's tradition in KC, whoever sees ISU on their line will be like..."****.".

Lard seems to give great effort, but gets saddled with crap fouls and is forced to avoid any incidental contact.I don't think we're in the top 8 of this league in terms of talent, but if there was ever a year a 10 seed could win the Big 12 tournament, this is definitely the year. I don't even care who we draw, I think we can beat any team in the league if we play for 40 minutes, and that includes Lard giving a **** for 40 minutes.
I wonder what kind of a following there will be in KC this year, since there’s a good chance for an early out
I don't think it matters. This team has no leadership. When we get in a funk, everyone just folds up the tent and let's the opponent run out the clock. Too many times we have "given up" with several minutes remaining on the clock. Whatever happened to playing until the last tick on the clock? With the 3 point shot, no lead should be too big to just "give up". Make the other team make free throws to beat you. Use every one of our 5 fouls until we have no one left on the bench. Hopefully Shayok and Jacobson will bring some leadership to next year's team. Maybe I got spoiled by our previous teams that routinely overcame double digit deficits to pull out a win.
This year's roster doesn't have any seasoned veterans to take leadership role, and no "money" guy, either. On some teams, one player assumes both roles, other times it's separate. Someone may grow into either/both role next year and after, but this season, lack of both, coupled w/ so many role-transfers and youth (and injuries, to add insult to, uh, injury...).
Experienced leadership guys are like Ejim, Niang, Naz, Monte.
Money player examples: Royce, Kane, Niang, Monte.
Keep in mind, half those go-to's were 1-year transfer impact seniors. The others in each category didn't fall into either role until junior year.
If there was ever a year a 10 seed could win the Big 12 tournament, this is definitely the year.
Pretty much a wash this year.
I doubt many fans will be able to get here on a Wednesday, or want to for that matter.

Wednesday's turnout will be better than our opponents, but overall it won't be anything close.
Every business in the P&L has to be crapping themselves with how much money they are going to miss out on with our fan base not taking over for the weekend.
Bumping this, should be able to narrow it down a little tonight, but when I run the bracket generator I keep getting Texas as a 1st rd opponent, if we would get an upset or 2nd round opponents have changed looks like KU would be off the table as they will be a 1, and WV has passed Tech for 2nd place, so quarters would be WV or Tech...
Sign me up for Texas right now with no Davis and a dinged up Bamba
I certainly think ISU could beat any of the teams that get the 7 seed, but playing WVU that next round would be tough.Bumping this, should be able to narrow it down a little tonight, but when I run the bracket generator I keep getting Texas as a 1st rd opponent, if we would get an upset or 2nd round opponents have changed looks like KU would be off the table as they will be a 1, and WV has passed Tech for 2nd place, so quarters would be WV or Tech...

Texas is my preference right now. I would also take either of the Oklahoma schools, but since we are playing both of them this week, Id prefer Texas. I want absolutely nothing to do with TCU.
In order...
Texas
OSU
OU
Baylor
TCU
