Yes I rember same too. Person you're referring to said that when he lived there the rooms were individually rented out and each room had a keycode to get in. I remember it because if the victims still had these kind of codes to get in it would explain the 911 call to some degree.

In the article it doesn’t actually say that the video, or in this case, the picture from the video is new evidence to the police. It seems like it is ‘new information’ to TMZ.

TMZ just slapped a headline on it that was going to get a lot of clicks.

At least the way I read it.

From my seat which is very a far it all comes down to finding who was in the Elantra for tthis investigation to make significance progress. It'd be hard to believe as much publicity as this case has gotten that the person driving it isn't aware they're wanted at this point

Browsing reddit it sounds like he was arrested in Pennsylvania. Decent chance he drove through our state while he was on the run.

Authorities in Pennsylvania have arrested a suspect in the stabbing deaths of four Idaho students. The chief of police in Moscow, Idaho, said Friday that 28-year-old Bryan Kohberger is a PhD student in the criminology department at Washington State University.

But the case broke open after law enforcement asked the public for help finding a white sedan seen near the home around the time of the killings. The Moscow Police Department made the request Dec. 7, and by the next day had to direct tips to a special FBI call center because so many were coming in.
